Life after high school shouldn’t mean isolation. Too many young adults with disabilities spend their days at home, without opportunities to learn, work, or make friends. Beyond Boundaries Network (pending 501(c)(3) determination) exists to change that.We are the newest branch of a vision that began with Outside the Box Behavioral Services, an established Lighthouse Point agency that has provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and related diagnoses for more than six years. Families across Broward County know and trust Outside the Box for its individualized support, compassionate team, and strong reputation in the community.Our nonprofit continues that same commitment — expanding services to meet the needs of young adults with disabilities, ages 17 through adulthood, who have aged out of the school system.

Programs That Build Futures

Our programs are designed to support the whole person — not just at work, but at home and in the community. We help families breathe easier, knowing their young adult is learning, contributing, and finding real independence.Beyond Boundaries Network supports teens and adults with disabilities, ages 17 through adulthood, who want the next step toward independence, employment, and community belonging.Current Program:
8-Week Job Training Program
We currently offer an eight-week job training program focused on:Soft Skills — Communication, teamwork, and workplace etiquetteCareer Discovery — Exploring individual talents and strengthsJob Applications — Résumé basics, completing applications, and professional follow-upInterview Readiness — Dressing appropriately, showing up prepared, and practicing interview conversationsConfidence Building — Realistic role-play, feedback, and coachingThis program helps participants discover what they can do — and gives them the tools to step confidently into employment.Additional Supports:Supported Employment — Job carving, employer matching, and on-the-job coaching.Life Skills for Independence — Money management, travel training, cooking, and everyday safety.Community & Friendships — Local meet-up groups where participants talk about social topics that affect them, practice communication, and learn to build healthy relationships. We also organize outings into the community and create breakout groups based on shared interests — helping participants form and maintain friendships naturally.Family Support — Workshops, resources, and a supportive network for parents and caregivers.Our goal isn’t just to teach skills — it’s to create purpose, connection, and independence that lasts a lifetime.

Our Story

Beyond Boundaries Network (pending 501(c)(3) determination) was created because we saw a gap in services for young adults with disabilities in Broward County.Our Roots in Lighthouse Point:
We proudly branched out from Outside the Box Behavioral Services
, where for more than six years we have provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and related diagnoses. As Board Certified Behavior Analysts and practitioners, we walked alongside families during their child’s most important years.Why We Expanded:
Through that work, we noticed a heartbreaking pattern: as children grew into teens and then adults, services became scarce. Parents would call our ABA agency or post in local Facebook groups asking, “Where can my 18-year-old go for help? What comes after high school?”The truth was clear: there were very few resources in Broward County for individuals ages 17 through adulthood. That’s why we created Beyond Boundaries Network — to ensure that support doesn’t end at graduation.Continuing ABA for Younger Children:
While Beyond Boundaries Network focuses on ages 17 and up, we continue to support younger children through Outside the Box Behavioral Services in special cases — such as families with lapsed insurance coverage or when a diagnosis does not fit traditional insurance guidelines. This ensures that no family falls through the cracks.Our Mission:
To empower teens and adults with disabilities through vocational training, supported employment, life skills education, parent support, and community connection — so no one has to navigate adulthood alone.We are structured, trusted, and rooted in the community — and now, through Beyond Boundaries Network Inc, we are growing opportunities for lifelong independence and belonging.
